Terremplo Final Conferences

Terremplo

During the last month of implementation of Terremplo our partnership has celebrated territorial final conferences gathering more than 175 participants to showcase our project outcomes and results, inviting all relevantstakeholders and reflecting about the progress made in our inter-agency collaborations and challenges ahead to better cater for young people NEETs.

The three countries involved in Terremplo hosted their event with great involvement of staff, disseminating the Terremplo Strategy and promoting the engagement of associated partners who signed Memorandum of Understanding, committing to a sustainable support to young people across the different services available in each local area.

Dublin

The Final Conference for Ballymun Job Centre was held in Ballymun Civic Centre on the 19th of June 2025. 27 participants attended, including BJC staff, representatives of associated partners including SEETEC, the Rediscovery Centre, the INOU, City of Dublin ETB, Ballymun Youthreach, Rethink Ireland and Dublin City Council. Also present was a young person involved in the project who shared her experience as a NEET navigating Irish services.

The conference began with a presentation of the project journey, followed by the Terremplo strategy. Finally all participants were invited into a discussion, where the importance of inter-agency collaboration, and the importance of a sustainable community approach were highlighted. These areas were noted as potential issues of focus of a follow on project in the future.

Abbeville

The final event in Abbeville took place on the 28th of May in Place Max Lejeune in Abbeville.

Over 63 participants, partners and stakeholders of the Terremplo project attended the event, where the projects aims and objectives were presented.

In particular, our Abbeville partners MLPM presented their Hub activities and had a discussion about the results. Topics discussed included: adapting support tools to the reality of clients and the need to strengthen collaboration between local partners.

The event received positive feedback, with praise for the collaborative atmosphere and the relevance for the topics discussed which included mobility, innovative recruitment and support for entrepreneurship.

Centre IFAPME

On Monday 30 June 2025, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Centre IFAPME Liège-Huy-Verviers hosted the final conference of the INTERREG NWE Terremplo project at its Villers-le-Bouillet training centre. It brought together stakeholders from the fields of integration, employment and training in Wallonia.

The conference was structured around five main sections, presenting the project journey, the results of the project and an open floor discussion with participants on future prospects. Cente IFAPME also promoted the project at an open doors day on 25 June in their office, which shared the project results with prospective trainees and their parents, trainers and staff members. Between the two events, 84 people heard about the impact of the Terremplo project, and discussed topics such as early awareness raising, developing partnerships, support for young people, and potential project follow ups.

Next Steps for the Project: The Terremplo project has helped build a strong local network and initiate concrete actions for the professional integration of young people. Partners are committed to continuing this momentum, strengthening existing mechanisms, and developing new initiatives to meet the needs identified during the HUBs and the final conference, with capitalisation plans to keep reaching out to our target groups.
